I had to support sexual oriented comments from spanish boys last night. That was the first time ever in this game. I felt very, very bad about this. (These kids were speaking in Spanish and thought I didn't understand, but Spanish is close to French so I had the main idea). (Val, it was when whe took Shana with Sprell, Athena, Tharla and Nylann).

For people saying 'I hope you'll see nothing worse in your life', I want to answer you this. I've been sexualy assault IRL and it was easier to deal. Knowing that in my contry, 2.5% of women are sexualy assault and 1.5% are raped EACH YEAR, I think I'm not the only one to 'over'react.

I don't know if this behavior is related to the new walk but I'm sure the new walk doesn't help. I have nothing against sluts/whores/girls who want to be sexually attractive. Sometimes I take my leggins off for fun in the game, but I want my walk to be fonctional. Even the sexiest warrior ever doesn't walk like that ! (2:15)

I'm an argentinean female. It's true that argentinean males aren't that machist, and NGD always were very respectful to their female players, as well as taking them in account and I think that's why this community has such a high number of women.

I think there is a conceptual mistake between being feminine/sexy and to look like a slut, they are totally two different concepts. The game itself has female archer characters that look sexy and can take off their breastplate to look even more slutty, but that's something that players are able to choose if they want to do or not. Women use miniskirts and that's why some members of the female community are asking for them, but nearly none of them walks like a model in a catwalk, and that's because if one of them walks like that all men would be trying to hit on her. Women of Argentina are feminine and tend to smarten up a lot, but they never walk like that in their lives, because if they do they would have a crowd of men staring at her like an easy prey.

When I first saw the walking animation the day before releasing it on the exp server, my first reaction was like 'What a slut!' and then it turned a bit funny, but I did take in account the males of Regnum community and said that with this change we female players will not be able to walk anymore because all the men would try to hit on us more often than they do nowadays.

Everybody knows that ingame women have to cope with drooling men trying to hit on you and you could figure out that by yourself making a female character with a female name and just leveling it for 2 days. Many men choose to make a female char to use them to get gold, items and other stuff taking advantage of the other horny men. And if that isn't true, then why the 'Buitre señal'?

In my opinion, if it's not necessary to walk at all in game like you said, then why did you actually changed the animation? This walking animation will just make us female players to be more molested by male players.

NGD, I have always given you the benefit of the doubt, and yes, the female characters on this game are less provocative than others but I think the walk is taking it to far. Women just want to be treated equally and this sexist behavior is not encouraging males to treat us so. I do realize this is just a game, but it is a game that females play, and if we are unhappy about it, then you should be too.
You need to take into account our opinions and change it back, the change was unnecessary and just caused a majority of the women population to criticize you even though many of the things in the update were nice changes.

Change it back.

Oh well, i don't know how the new animation is because i don´t have time to play.... (lie) But i think it's a stupid change to make.... i think there are two kind of people that play regnum... those who want to play a war MMORPG and those who don't have a life and the closest thing to sex they have is looking at a female PC thinking that it's a real woman.... Changing the walking animation for female PCs is a plus for the later kind... but IMHO i think you should try to focus more on the first kind. Those are the ones that pay and keep the game alive :wish:

Personally, I think the new walk is sexy and taunting. If I get killed by a female which in all reality is probably a male, and they do that damn walk around me it frustrates me. xD

In all seriousness, I am almost 22 years old which is young compared to some players, but I can see the angle in which many of my female friends are coming from. It doesn't bother me, and I am sure it doesn't bother most males... The thing is females are very sensitive, or at least most of them and they sure as hell don't want to be categorized let me tell you that. :O So in my own opinion, if it even begins to bring on more harrasement I would modify the walk in some ways. Hell I love it, but that doesn't mean it is right if anyone gets where I am coming from.

I am a girl since I was born.. and I dont mind this new female walking animation.. Female body is a bit differend from male one so I think you also noticed that girls walk a bit differend than boys. Well.. the new animation is not realistic.. not evrey girl walks like that but I know some girls that do so.. This new animation doesnt offend me.. I find it rather funny..so dont be so touchy and show you have sence of humor ;) I am sure that ngd havent added it to offend anybody ;) Right, guys?

Right. And hey, does every guy in the world have huge muscles? I find it offending that there are no obese people in this game ;) ;)

Really i cant understand how you cant be offended by a bunch of idiots saying you are sexy walking that way, its a graphic model damn it. If they get horny with that its only their problem.

Also i want to see a lot of people here calling "cheap sluts" to the real girls who walk that way in real life.
