Demon, you aren't fooling around with certain files now are you. ;) You did say you were a programmer, so you probably know what I am talking about.

yep i made a bow that does damage 9999-9999 damage... no no...

I think the error is in some kind of weight calculation the number is not available from your character screen but if you keep on getting loaded with stuff you'll get to a point where your character has reached its weight limit and will run slower than if he's just overloaded.
Some of the items won't show up and you have to give some items to another player, or sell your loot then relog to view the rest.

now if this secret number where a player has reached it's capacity limit is in the calculation when viewing items he won't be able to see a certain amount of items.

Blunt examples:

someone has a weight limit of 20 and a capacity limit of 40
plate armor 5 kg
shield 5 kg
bow 5 kg
staff 4 kg
hammer 6kg (at this point 25 kg, weight limit reached) #1
tunic 3kg
gloves 2kg (-.-')
helm 5 kg
sword 5 kg (at this point 40 kg, capacity limit reached) #2
spear 6kg
mage hat 2kg

Let's say these items were looted in the direction they are listed, at some point (I don't know if it's random or something) the user won't be able to view the spear and the mage hat (possibly not the sword either) because they exceed his capacity limit.
If it's in the order these items were created that they disappear from your list I don't know, this is just a theory I have, but it would seem to be the most logical, actually I think it was the oldest items which disappeared from mine last time it happened to me

Happened to me yesterday, I had pierce arrows selected and then switched to slashing arrows, but when I tried to reselect the piercing ones they had just vanished. And no, they haven't finished! And yes, I'm pretty sure that it happened the way I describe and I can add that although I lost my arrows in the inventory I still had the icon on my short bar.

And I don't know about the weight limit theory AwD, I don't train for some days so my weight I pretty stable and still it happened yesterday.

Ive got to say, I will listen more to what Demon Monger has to say, because as stupid as it sounds, its real. Ive been experiencing missing items, and in one of the hotfixes, it said they fixed "Gold Dupe" bug.

So I guess there might be some truth to what Demon says :confused: ???

maybe its your computer's firewall or something bloking the game's files put regnum on its secure list this happened in my friends computer on another game

where do all these logs come from anyway ?

Yeah since some update i cant check the console anymore.

This is not due to a weight bug... i only have 110 / 170 mass capacity....
This is not due to my firewall... i take ot off when playing regnum....
This bug was not as bad until the added 1 second minumim item switch...
I went from 2 million coins to 300k because i had to always keep rebuying my items...... I'm not buying them anymore... From now on when the RIEM takes my items... im just gonna sit there with my thumb up my butt....

ummm this is some wierd problem you got maybe its just in your curently insltaled regnum try reinstaling trust me its the key to all problems if you do it a few times but still there will still be new problems my curent is cant go in test server, or maybe its a hiden lag i remeber getting some stuf in my comabt log but nothing in my inventory but this is kindo of what AWD said, but have a good fealing 3hours of reinstaling will fix this but when u get back im not sure ull get your items back or it will stop and you wont get your items back.

edit: another solution check the diferent slots on your inventory this problem happened to my huntter(along with amor constanly changing) the stuf will apear in the other slots for some reason

when you relog the items come back for a short time... then they vanish again at random moments.... Sometimes when you relog the items dont come back at all....

@ signatus check the other tabs in your inventory you could have accidently put them in their or deleted them by accident i've never lost arrows without deleting them or selling so yeh
also demon monger you could potientially sell them when you log in at least youll get some mponey back maybe try the game on a friends computer or a diffrent one and log in on your account and see if you still have the items

No, the problem is real. And it works like this:

I have 2 tunics. Dark Archmage Tunic and Tunic of the Stars. Currently I'm wearing Dark archmage tunic. Then I switch to tunic of the stars. My dark archmage tunic should be in my inventory, but it's not. And It's not in any other tabs. I need to relog to get them back.

Same happens with everything else, my Dareh Staff and Sun Staff, my gloves, and my hats...

...and it's really annoying to relog all the time. So you have to take the item off, then equip the other one, don't just equip the other one without taking the first one off.

hm its never happened to me but ive noticed that it will not let me change armor/bows/arrows while im in combat stance

its because of the lag. when i lag really bad my items disappear until about 5 minutes then they come back as normal.

it happend to me twice already...when i fight and switch to a sword i cant get my spear back because its missing...i have to relog>.<

It is not lag. My Pings were 300 at the time and my FPS was 37 or so.

Truth. I got them back after relogging. But it's a bit annoying... if it happens with my bow... :eek: I'm dead!

This is problems with the Regnum database server.

ive tried logging on over 12 different computers the problem is the same....
Also I've been preaching about this problem for a long time now.. its getting worse and worse... Finally people are listening....

But the problem now its not the problem you had demon.

This was happening latelly and when you relog you have your items, you are talking this like an excuse to your long ago lost items.

You are the only one one had his items vanished forever. Everyone solved the problem relogging again.

What i was saying is that people don't care unless the problem effects them...

So tell me another one who loses his items forever. I am waiting for it.

dude i get lag of over 900ms my average lag is 1000 so thats y my items disappear.

That's probably not the reason then, it's not lag, because my pings are low and I still get missing items.

btw how can you play with 1k pings on average? I used to play with around 700 pings on average and even that was quite bad.

You can play with 1k pings. That's what I get usually. You just have to wind down your brain processing to sync up with the game :P (seriously).

quite easily just dont get angry with the game very easy to play with 1k + pings.
