Change Of Mind...

Need a little help here,
I am already lvl 16, a barb btw, and using swords/axes.
But ive heard using a spear is best? if so, i would like to know wether i can
reset my skill points or if i should restart my character.

i hate the second option D:

Type /reset_powers and you can reset your points and powers like brand new ;)

spears are the best, reset your powers like edge said.

axes got litle advantege of speed but a medium speed spear gives a warior good advantage also natural resistance to slashing damage with clearly proves its better than a lame sword :horsey: :nunchaku:

but theres no such thing a a medium speed spear for barbarians, thats why I use swords, south cross is great with it, but if you don't have south cross, until then its best to use spears

both warriors and archers have mixed weapons, mages have them to, but not as much

like my spear is both slashing and piercing damage, and it does the same damage as a normal one. Its better to pick these kinds if you have setups with more skills

mages have it with elemtns, liek have a staff on my conjurer that does fire and elec damage

fucking keybord is messed up

The only downfall about it is this:

Say you have a lvl 50 2h Axe that does 250-300 Slash and 50-100 Piercing and 50-100 Blunt

Next you have 15 in Slashing, Blunt, and Piercing

When you hit a monster/player normal hit, you will hit 700-800 damage presuming your a lvl 50 Barbarian.

You hit him with Charge and hit 400-500 damage
You hit him with Gutting and hit 200-250
You hit him with the Blunt 1st move ( I forget the name ) and hit 200-250

Why did you hit lower than a normal hit? Its because when you use a power from one category, you are only going to use the attack power coming from the same type of weapon.

Thats why this kind of weapon can be good and bad. I do not recommend this kind of weapon. It hits the same as a weapon of one element in its level range, but the power will hit lower.

I hope you understand that information.

So if I had a axe with slashing and piercing damage I could use balestra too?

No, you can't. Even if some weapons have different damages, it's the "nature" of the weapon the one that allows you to use the whole branch of skills.
