hello, as an alternative to shiraradasjhj2aws, i started playing a game called Guild Wars. does anyone play it? if so, holla at me with that ingame name and your opinions of it :) :thumb: if we had enough people, who knows, maybe we could make a guild or something :O

yes i played it. the pvp was too staged. I like the unpredictable nature of all out rvr.

nice nice. yea me and kim play a pretty entertaing fps called team fortress 2, but that bloody brit is trying to get me into counterstrike.... haha we'll see :D

Yes it is, thats why I think Regnum will become a huge sucess in the PvP game genre, however the storyline in GW (Actual Roleplaying) is a true work masterpeice.

The Order of Daggers already has a guild in Guild Wars.

I was playing GW for a while but grew a bit bored with it. If I'm not lazy enough to log into Windows I'll see if I can meet you there.

I have been playin guild wars sence release and have a guild and an alliance with a guild there pvp is ok but there RvR sucks bad. The game its self isnt bad great story, grafix are good, but it still lacks alot.

But since you're in the mood to toss out unsolicited insults...

When compared to any established Dagger in skill, cooperation level, and motivation it was long ago obvious to me that you are not "dagger material". Therefore, we would not have you even if you wanted to join. However, there are many other good players in Regnum we would embrace..so if one of you players comes to GW, drop us a line. ;)

LOL sorry to break this to you but dave is probably one of the most deadly marksmen I have ever seen together with gpomal. And I've known people in OoD who have far less skills and/or cooperation level and/or motivation than not just dave, but the average regnum player. So yeah, if that's what "dagger material" is, I'm pretty sure dave would not fit in there, he's too good for ya :p

I have to agree that Dave is probably one of the best marksmen out there. Now as to the skill level of OoD players, I would say they are a mixed bunch just like almost every other clan out there. Some of them are exceptionally good, while some are merely average.

It's amazing his name is never listed on ony of the "best player" threads. Hehe, go figure. But it's good of you to stick up for your clan mate. It shows character.

I'm just stating facts.

Bashing on a well known good player (I'm not that stupid to think you actually believe dave's not good) because he doesn't like your clan is what you did. Whether it shows character or not, meh, who am I to judge ;)

I was playing Guild Wars for almost 3 years, got Polish championship with my guild, some good fun, and incredible emotions in that game.
Saying that PvP in GW is bad or something shows some ppls ignorance and not knowing the PvP of GW at all, that is what the game is about - PvP, roleplay was added there just to give a alternative

nothing wrong with GW pvp, I just don't like it. I don't like instanced pvp. It feels too staged.

I can play it, but it's uber choppy. Many daggers are there though.

Besides, if he didn't want to exchange 'words', he didn't have to say anything at all about the reference to the OoD being in GW. Obviously, he was trolling for a reaction, and, he got one.

I agree GW has some of the coolest emotions, and a wide variety. The PVP dosent interest me really, because I feel its kinda staged and setup, depening on where you go.

But you got a 5 star on this from me:

-Soundtrack and music, Performed by Jeremy Soule, this music will get you into the game.
-Amazing Graphics, Even on a computer with minmum requirments, you will get great quality, picutres are taken on highest quality always,
-Amazing Storyline, like I said before, its a true RPG, the storyline will pull you in, and at times you will be unable to control your feelings.
-Amazing Co-op, you will learn the true value and meaning of teamwork when you play, you will be forced to actual create tactics, and you will end up studying gameplay.
-Monster AI, the monster AI is incredible, you will never find anything easy, it will be so hard for you at time you will have to quit for periods.

I could keep going on and on, but im getting carried away. This is a Regnum forum, so I don't think this is the right spot for this sort of thing, and especially in general discussion. You just gotta try the game once at least though.

hmm nonsense poopypants. for one, the majority of my playing was done well before those lists came out- for example- where is slim? everyone knew he kicked ass, but he stopped playing for some time and then the lists were created. people just tended to comment on people they more recently played with. ohh yea val and two- before you go making random ignorant assertions, do yourself a favor and check those lists a little more thoroughly :) ok done with making #2s so i can get on with some more important things in life than arguing over a video game. is that how you won your girlfriend? hi my name is valouris i am queen of daggers i have uber micro wanna be my girlfriend? i bet you are such a playa

Slim isn't on the lists for the exact reason you stated- he stopped playing before most of the lists were compiled. Same with Thanus, and others i'm sure.

Then again, i was away from Regnum for 3 months and was still the #3 hunter in the best hunter poll that was started right before i came back. :smile:

Legolas I, the player that passed me as the #1 scoring Hunter in regnum barely had any votes at all. Shrug, go figure.

But seriously, Slim stopped playing shortly after i hit 50, so i can't really honestly say what my opinion of him was, i never had time to formulate one.

I still get kicks at watching Slim's old videos in YouTube. He is an amazing player. We would regularly go on hunts where we were outnumbered and end up winning. :) Those were the days....

It took exactly 5 seconds for another Syrtis conj to come over and revive me. I'm sure he would've smacked you in the back of the head if he could have too. As soon as i was revived 2 other conjs immediately healed and buffed me.

Your extremely poor sense of team play in favor of childishly putting your petty personal difference with another player in front of Syrtis battlefield success highlights in a nutshell all the reasons i think you're a bad player.

Your ridiculous character name choices are also bad for the game IMO, and not just a little offensive either. To me, you personify some of the worst aspects of online gaming.
