Ra is not only Spanish

Mostly Spanish and English players
Those are the two main languages

Yet today, there was a broadcast, again, in Spanish. No English translation. We had no idea what was said. I've complained about this before, this was two months ago, and yet I see this happen again..Why??

they said: "go to amun server, somebody want to meet you ;D"

Kailer said that they were going to do something about it soon, and that was a while ago.

Same old I guess.

The announcement in Ra has been done in both languages. In Amun there was no translation because everyone that could have done that was occupied with other tasks. We are sorry about this, but you know the whole story... "we are just a few...". I hope you understand.

Hm, does anyone remember it seeing it in English on Ra? I don't...

Actually I even don't like that on the starter it says Ra (International/ES). This really discourages non Spanish beginners to come to Ra. The English speaking community has lost quite a few people unfortunately with Horus. Even though there seem often only about 150 ppl to play there...

I haven't seen english translations for announcements on the screen about amun for a while.
Also whenever I speak english I get scolded that this is spanish server and I should go to horus lol

There was no English announcement. All we're asking is a translation under it or something. Thats all. I don't mean to complain. But its just, wow.

I have not seeing any announcement on Ra in english recently.And on Horus we have not seeing not even 1 single announcement to ask us to go to Amun.

You can't access Amun with Horus characters.

I know, but still I have Ra characters that I can use to enter the server. besides the idea is for every user possible that is willing, to go and test there.

Is still not a excuse of why Horus users dont get a announcement. The problem here is that the announcement was not made in english on Ra. I simply stated the situation with Horus.

I also understand that NGD is a small team, and some tasks are limited.

Of course we can all go without a announcement also and test the new features.

Dunno, when he was under the name Gamemod he "promised" this issue would be solved when he became community manager.

Two issues came into my mind when I read the thread title. One is RA being claimed (according to some posts) as a spanish speaking only server. Another is about the announcement.

As for the latter, Kailer has posted a reply and I believe so; that is that. Though I find the reason a little bit unsatisfactory, that's the word we are given by him.

About RA, well, on;y time will tell. I bet NGD has a lot of other things on mind to tackle such a problem.

Its not only about having the time. Being a small team implies other kind of issues.
Let me try to explain, that was not a formal announcement at all.

a programmer just got exited to see people trying out new features and he sent a server notice.

We can force him not to do that anymore. But that doesn't necessary means that you will get better information.

I know that this might sound un-professional, but it is what it is.

Formal announcements should be done in all servers in both languages.
