Raven for spanish players? Why not Horus?

They don't fear to get swarmed by spanish spammers.
If you don't want to lose potential players, I recommend you to open Horus to spanish users too.

while they don't fear it is because they monitor the realm chats and will boot folks who do not use english

Actually, GameSamba accounts have Horus in the server list. I don't know what you people are complaining for. They just choose the server with the most benefits.

But what does it have to do with the players not being able to enter on Horus?

In theory, this prevents the huge shit storms there would be if NGD gave the Spanish users access to Horus on their normal accounts. In this way, NGD encourages their partner to continue sustaining the game by sending them already milked players to their server while also keeping Horus cleaned from too many Spanish speakers which was the reason why NGD made Horus in the first place.

Dunno if this is true, but I heard the Spanish culture is pretty big in The States. That's why they've got children programs such as Dora The Explorer brainwashing poor Americans.

Ah ok. So the goal is to maintain Horus as an underpopulated server and to line their partners pockets.

It's not like allowing Spanish players on Horus is the only solution. This is contradictory of what Horus was created for. Saying that Horus is underpopulated just proves that it's still not ready to balance the number of Spanish speakers from English speakers.

Saying Horus is underpopulated is saying that since it was launched half the population, most of which were perfectly decent English speakers, have been leeched off to other servers. French, Brazilian, American...

Americans were probably the main base of native-english speakers on Horus, opening a server specifically for them, regardless of how good it is for the game otherall, rather nullifies the whole point of Horus. Now we have the UK, Australia and assorted other players dotted around the rest of the globe, mostly Europe, who happen to speak English.

Raven may as well be the "main" English speaking server now.

Not the only but its a good one, The majority of the Horus population would like spanish people to join Horus we don't care about spamming the chat we really don't. If I can choose between non-stop action or sometimes being bothered by Holas-people believe me Ill choose non-stop action and yes it will be nonstop action since there are actually quite alot of people who would like to move to Horus because they don't enjoy playing on overpopulated servers.

I think they gave acces to spanish ppl to Raven because in Raven is worst than in Horus.
It is a young server....has lack of people.
Regnum is a very good game ,but most of kids want hentai style games,Regnum allways selected they category of players.
So Regnum as always needs time to grown up.It not instant as others companys that use huge advertise,spends tons of cash of them and tradition.
In Regnum is same kind of maturity.
Giving acces to some people that alrady know about this game is a good think.
May help Raven to grown up,and Horus people complaint?....hmmm look in realms online forum too see very low activity.
I think better priority fro NGD is to give to spanish acces on Raven than on Horus.
Horus has lack of players at some Time zones...but most people must admit,there are hours when Horus is not so bad.....

Anyway ....about new incomers there is stil a issue ...look at this screenshot what think a new incomer about game...maybe must be a lesson for NGD....

He said cool, so? It's not like the fort capture notifications don't show that there is action in the war zone. The players in the inner realm are usually quiet too, there's really nothing you can do about that.

Up until a few weeks ago, Raven was doing much better than Horus. Its only now that Horus has made a comeback.

But why would you NOT allow Spanish players on Horus? Its not much work for NGD to make this change is it? And the recent polls proved that 75% off the community is possitive towards this change so, Why not?

The only think is whats happens when people dose not speack with new players :P....
And if you wold readet the log ..he neighter understand what is the war one...and this only because lack of info about game in game about how works this game :P

In game "How to play" contains enough info for beginner. You just need to read it.

Nope there is not always ..... maybe for experimented players yes,not for a beginer...a bit hidden infos ....
And there is a wall of text if you open "How to play"...i must admit in 3 years never readet because text..text..and again text ...still i think a smal splash screen that give infos about game general is a need.

And if you tell me ,i dont need it anymore...tell him and other new player this ....

I am a bit disapointed how old players watch only from they perspective when they know everythink about this game and not from a new player perspective.....when you fall from moon to earth.

We used to be new players too. I used to play in the down times were almost nobody was online and to be honest it didn't bother me at all, I just wanted to get to the war zone fast. And whenever I needed help I asked on realm chat and usually after a while I'd get my answer. It's not that hard or complicated. There's even clan chat that is more reliable.

Don't treat new players like babies because they aren't and if someone is we really don't need those kind of people to defend our glorious realm from the evil wood elves and dwarfs. <o/

Do you realize how many people quit because they think the game is empty because they don't see anyone talking in realm chat?

Ermmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I even didn't knew about realm chat 1st week :D. And still playing for over year :) .

Do you know? I'm quite sure nobody really knows. These cases will always exist but that doesn't mean it applies to the majority of quitters.

The main common reasons why people quit is either because they get bored or can't cope with how the game works and its bugs.


(Last time I checked, the tips window still mentions fatigue...)

I think everyone has experienced that when he was in in inner-realm and he had to explain some new players that there are plenty of people in the warzone but they just can't chat with you, So yeah quite alot of people quit because they think the game is empty. Well idk its a idea.... but there is a reason it was removed in the first place...

Not for spanish IPs.

I am spanish with gamesamba and NGD accounts.

Just return realm chat and commerce chat to central saves, a whopping 150m area out of all of the warzone. Leave the rest of the warzone untouched.

Anyone who doesn't like it can just leave the save. All problems solved.
