NGD non-active
 

I don't see weekly messages and notifications in game or on the forums.
Is the NGD English staff out for an extended break?
Most notifications and events are months or even years old.
I would like to see more activity please.. and I'm not talking about GM's posting the daily "Get ready for a boost ya!!" message to the community.

Weekly message? I don't think we ever had those..
Frosk, as the community manager, is active almost every day on the forum. It's true, that the more communication, the better. We don't really get much information, apart from "this will be coming soon"...

Things tend to get quiet when an update approaches.(They're working hard and don't want to reveal anything apparently)

While it is true Frosk is active on forums (Posts Per Day: 4.15), NGD doesn't give much info on what is going on, apart "we are working on....".

When will you do a serious usability update ? UI is so cumbersome compared to other games, new players are often "surprised" (but we are trying hard to convince them the game is good...).

Which bugs will (finally) disappear with next update ?
In last one, almost no bug were fixed (http://www.championsofregnum.com/for...ad.php?t=96761) ?

It was said a new guy is working on bugs... (http://www.championsofregnum.com/for...0&postcount=53), so we can expect a lot of annoying issues to disappear soon.

What about finishing what you started ?
Class balancing never went to the end.
Achievements are near useless as they are (and bugged).
Minimap is useless (and bugged).
New invasion system need a lot of improvements.
TDM and CTF modes were abandonned on Haven (no one participated one since weeks).
Realm population balancing is still an issue.
Rankings are either useless or buggy, what about fixing that (with our help) ?

Frosk: you are doing a good job, but NGD communication is still quite bad ;)
Old players are used to that, ok, but new players ... well... they are checking website and forums, and ... i got one few days ago asking if the game is still maintained...

They just said that they are working on a fix for the dragons bugging at the gates. Hopefully that means stuck relics too.
Also, they are back to working on dragon instances.

That's about it for now.

I bet some of the "players" here are NGD members.
If i would have a forum that long and read all the stuff of the other users i can't answer that easy, i would have fun this way too :harhar:

I was truthfully thinking more about the game launcher for example.
Are people volunteering to post information or is someone on a payroll slacking.
Same goes for rallying the community... the GM's do well enough the past two years. But I would hope to see more involvement with all players and not just the players who can find their way.

I guess it's not as bad as it was a few years ago... when the news for the launcher talked about news from years past as if the game was abandoned.
