Newbie here- Which Realm?
 

Which realm is the best to play in? I know there are no advantages or anything but whats the coolest (or w/e) lol =p.

ALSIUS :)

All are great realms, right now Alsius is underpopulated so our fort-wars are a bit more interesting.

Right now Alsius has the least amount of players, so we're the underdogs and I'd argue it's a lot more challenging to play as an Alsirian.

Syrtis are heavily populated, prob'ly 'cos people like the image of wood-elves or simply prefer the scenery there. You see a lot of low-lvl Syrtians in the warzone compared to the other 2 realms 'cos they can afford to survive by employing large numbers (Zerg!).

Ignis is for those who don't like to play as dwarfs and goats of Alsius but don't want to be associated either with, to put it mildly, the very Disney-like elves of Syrtis. Oh, you must like sand as well and don't mind getting eye cancer to be in this realm.

You forgot you can play as human on the 3 realms... i like you description of syrtis and yeah it's why i've chosen ignis, we're always on war against treehumpers, but disney clan is in alsius right :P The 7 dwarves and white goat and all that kind of stuff, it's in alsius no ? (i like that in the comic!!!)

As amade said, but in the opposite side, it's more challenging to fight alsius than syrtis :biggrin:

you get eye cancer looking at goats and midgets in alius, you get brain cancer with all the LotR idiots in Tree humper land.

So if you wanna be in a good realm go Ignis, we're the only realm that gets a tan.

You've probably chosen by now, but Alsius could use the help and we're a great realm who always help each other out. Of course, I'm kinda partial to the goats and dwarves. If you like a huge realm that wins by overrunning their oppenents by shear numbers go with Syrtis. Ignis has good tactics and they are annoying as HELL at fort fights. Especially when the show up and hunt the edges of the fight.

I chose Alsius precisely because i was informed that they had the least numbers.

It was a challenge thing.

even though I'm not in alsius I would say alsius simply because they are low in population. Gives me another one to kill too :p

i choose syrtis cause i don't excactly wanna die of thirst in ignis lol nah it's just cause i didn't like the idea of wandering a baren wasteland full of sand and sctructures that look excactly the same. alsius i didn't choose cause i didn't wanna freeze to death. i choose syrtis cause of the lush thick grass and the rainbows and the jolly good skips to the wz

I'm not convinced about the whole "Alsius is undermanned" thing; in Ignis many players have 3 chars, I'd say that's the main difference. But I totally agree on Syrtis being over manned and that its only strategy is overwhelming the opponents :). Until we have official stats from NDG I'm not sure... When I hunt in Syrtis it's so empty I'm desperate... but they all remain at the save point discussing the latest first grader stuff ;). At least goats are out eating grass & grinding ;)

But, if you choose a realm that is not Ignis (the best realm ever ;P) choose Alsius :D.
