New to Regnum
Hi guys, I just discovered this game yesterday. I've played Ragnarok Online before, but it got boring, so I came here. I have no idea which "realm" I should choose and I also have no idea which class/subclass I should choose. I really liked using a Paladin in Rangarok, maybe that will you guys somehow Lol! Also, is there a website that shows all the creatures, armors, weapons, etc for Regnum? If there is, could you please direct me in that way? Thanks a lot guys, hope to see you all in game soon! :biggrin:

Welcome to Regnum Online! I see you made one good choice, lets see if you chose the right realm :p Im in Ignis and I love it, we are the bad guys, but really we are the good guys lol. If you liked being a Paladin, I suggest you pick a warrior, then on your subclass you can chose to be a Knight or Barbarian, Knight defensive, Barbarian offensive. I can show you the ropes if you PM me.
BTW my clan has a Paladin ranking, maybe you will ike that? :biggrin: |
The realm you choose is completely your choice. From what i hear Syrtis is the most populated, and alsius has the least players. Ignis is in between, but alot of new players seem to be going there or transferring to ignis. There aren't any realms that are "good" or "evil" but Ignis probably looks more menacing than the other realms.:devil:
As for your class, I'm a warlock (mage) so i wouldn't know much about warriors. But a knight would probably be closer to a paladin as it is the defensive warrior sub-class.;) I chose Ignis, but again, its completely your choice. If you choose Ignis, welcome, if not, have fun in the ice or the grass.:dance: |
What is the difference between the servers anyways? And what are the races that are good for Knights? Also, what stats should I have for a Knight? A template would be nice right about now, Lol.

Amun is the expirimental server, NGD tests things there, Ra is the international server, thats where you should go, and Muspell is the German Server.
If you choose Ignis the best clas for a knight is probably an Esquelio, I would either put all my points into Strength, or Constitution. |

There aren't much difference in between the 3 realms apart from what the others have mentioned. You can play all 6 subclasses in any realm but there are slight differences in character attributes depending on which race you pick to play.
If you meant what's different in terms of ideology, Alsius is looking to expand its empire and commerce. Syrtis simply doesn't want anyone to soil their Disney-like landscape. Ignis is where the Dark Elves have been banished to by their Syrtis brethren for practicing necromancy, so understandably they want some payback. You can read the RegnumZG website, it has an English version. |

I heard it was the Molok of Ignis. I recall someone saying they had more constitution (a key stat for knights) and therefore more HP as well.
