What pet hits harder??
 

This is just a general question to hunters and those attacked by hunters....

Which pet hits the hardest? I'm tossing my mind back and fort using Cyclops Warrior or Ignean Orc Grunt.....this is without bestial wrath - just base damage?

To me they seem pretty equal when i'm attacked but i'd say Orc.

What about wich pet hits harder training up to 15 the pet branch ?

Im still think about making that configuration.

PD:looks like cilopes hit harder, but orcs are harder to kill

I've wanted this configuration for a long time; however, until the Beastly Wolf bug is fixed from Syrtis no pets are worth it. The best pet is the beastly dark wolf from alsius but you can kill it quickly and it doesn't hit very hard.

From when I attempted to use the Beastly Wolf it would hit for 200-220

Realy. With all my buffs lvl3 i normaly have 230dmg but problem with pet's is that they have different dmg. I have done some test. Savage goblin is damn good pet but you need to use high lvl bestial wrath. Cobra is awsome. Aquantis could be great but it have piercing dmg (with 3lvl armor passive i was dealing 70-100dmg to it). Orcs are great. My problem with cyclops, tol-tars and yetti is that they are huge :]
I will probably back to savage goblin - less dmg to hunters but i like their crit rate and 3 lvl bestial should work. We could do some tests on Amun? What do you think about that?

oh I just thought that the pet you have, which one hits harder really depends on your opponent too what kind of armor he has.

If he's good against blunt, pierce or slash. I don't know what kind of damage each mob has but it's not always like you would think it is (considering their animation.)
My best bet would be to get three armors with htese stats

pierce: very good
blunt and slash: very bad

blunt: very good
slash and pierce: very bad

slash: very good
pierce and blunt: very bad

the rest of the procedure should be easy to figure out

Also, I'm kinda getting the consensus here that alot of hunters use bestial wrath....I've used it before but always so hard to find the points for it.

I'm having trouble finding points for pets period.

I have it on 3 but i almost always forget to cast it ;p
I use it only while hunting. But it is like breathing then. Tracking, 100-50m buffs, mana regeneration, bestial, mobility or/and camu and charge ;p normaly i don't even think that i have it.
