Forts and Castles what is the point.......
 

Forts and Castles what is the point of capturing them? Nothing is gain when taken or nothing is lost when taken away. What if “defenders” of a kingdom received a bonus when fighting within their kingdom? “Invaders” could counteract that bonus by taking the forts and castles. Each fort could represent ¼ of the bonus, the castle could represent 1/3 of the bonus and the final 1/6 of the bonus would remain. This would also give some reason to take (or retaking) the forts and castles other then just pride for ones kingdom (or hatred for the other kingdoms).

This being a game and there is no good way to enforce the real odd necessary to capture a fort or castle (2 to 1). This could add some of that to the game.

Ok man this is the point. When all of a realms castles and forts are taken the wall that leads to the realms inner area is opened thus making it possible for any of the opposing nations to enter past the great wall making almost all players available to be killed kinda something to keep you going. Dont you think it would be fun to invade other realms and kill everyone?

The fact is REgnum still Beta stage is... the forts and castles right now must be captured for testing purposes only (and some honor things ;) )

Like Ar saids, all this structures make the holekey to the realms, so, if the 3 structures of any kingdom fall at the same time, the door will be open and the invasion came.

The only place to be safe for pvp will be passing trought the first door, in the initiation zone.

This dsn´t work right now, but taking the structures give hints over if they´re working well or bugged (like some doors in forts, or flags... )
