Screen goes blank randomly.
 

Yeah... I'll be playing the game and then randomly the screen will go blank...and I'll have to shutdown my pc, I'm running Ubuntu 8.04 and everything's uptodate on it. So thus I don't think it's an ubuntu problem, so I think it's something w/ this game... I'm hoping to find a way to fix this.

When it happens, try pressing alt-enter to go into windowed mode, if this doesn't work and it seems like the computer has locked, check the ip of your computer ( /sbin/ifconfig ), and if you have another computer available (or if your friend has a laptop he can bring over), try to ping the ip and see if it responds, if it does you can ssh in to the computer to investigate.

alt+enter never works... and I'll try that the next time it does...
