Thanks for the change to RP rewards
I just wanted to say that I like the direction the game is taking with the new rp rewards.
There is a long discussion going on in the complaint forum and hope that those of you that do not like the new rp rewards will post there rather than here. I am starting this thread for those of us happy with the steps ngd is taking. The discontent are usually the louder ones so I hope that those of us that like the change will let ngd know. Anyways... Thanks NGD for taking such bold moves to improve your game! |
I agree with the over all change and it was needed IMVHO; however, taking RP gained for unchall and below to zero was too steep. Perhaps a minimum is better. Afterall, what you see in the WZ now are packs of about lvl 35-40 players because they know they can't give RP....and that's not cool.
But overall a good idea...just implemented a bit incorrectly. |
I agree that it could use some tweaking but overall I like the direction they are aiming for.

I really like the idea, its one more step to balancing out some of the aspects of Regnum. But like Solarus said, I think they should have a minimum of something like 1RP instead of nothing at all. Doing that will tackle most of the complaints made and make the balance more perfected. As long as NGD can see that and act upon it, Ill still have hopes for them. ;D

I reiterate what has already been said: idea is good, tho i think there should be minimal RP for killing unchg players.

For what it is worth, the endless thread in complaints was the final nail that brought me to realize this change was indeed good... People apparently take this way too seriously, hopefully that effect will be lessened now that a lvl 50 is unable to "farm" RP's like before. Changes to old RP system has to be taken. But this direction was wrong. What should really be taken is RP based on players health, if someone is 50% health should give you 50% RPs and so one. Second thing is that unrated unchallenging are able to kill 50lvl. Im 48 lvl warlock and you need 3 unrated/unchallenging to kill me. I cant even defend myself. In that situation who shouldnt get RPs? :p
RPs for unranked and unchallenging should be 6 and 8 now. With health into counting and party sharing it would give you something like 1-3RP per char. If you enter WZ and you are low lvl and playing solo be prepared to die. That should be this way. If you dont want dying gather into zergs and grind together or stay away of WZ. Quote:

I totally agree, the change was needed, although I feel they went about it the wrong way. Something should come from killing anyone in the WZ, afterall ... it is the WZ. As others have stated, and I found out the hard way yesterday, the lower levels are running around in packs/groups and it is not fair that we get nothing in return for defending ourselves.
