To the warlocks in other Realms
 

Do you find it overpowered that an Ignis warlock can cast faster then you by a mile second?

I would like to know, because i've had enough pvps, and when it ended up me telling them i used my wicked casting set, they'd say cheap. If so, explain why. If not, why not.

Details on light tunic: Casting speed +2% attack speed+2% Evade chance+2%(i think its 5 though?)

Level-15 I'd say normal on all elements of damage, and 50 armor?

Well i gave the information on this tunic because this is the resource on why an Ignean warlock can cast so fast.

So let me see your opinions, and start up a conversation.

To me, the Lightning Rings are the big problem.
2 of them makes a big difference in attack speed.

For the casting... I wouldn't care about such low values.
PS. I have a lvl 38 warlock, does this count? xD

well... i think that the set that a warlock choose... depends too the experience of the warlock. Actually i have +18% Casting speed from items, and +14% Atack speed.

First, a lot of warlocks said me "u are a fool, why do you use atk speed?" bue look me now ;)

I have a 29 lock, wonder if he counts? :)

But on the other hand I have faught many locks, and warjus and hell every class, them Lightning rings make a big impact if the target is also useing tfb or arcane accell, Atk speed imo is a very powerfull stat, and should not be easily available from a quest item.

Ds rings in syrtis are also very good paired up, Im not sure of the stats on the als equivalent.

The ring is level 40. The quest you get it is at lvl 39.

Trying to find another lightning Ring is like a needle in a haystack; they sell for anywhere from 2 million to 10 million gold.

Ah I assumed it would be at the same lvl as the DS ring (low 20's) :)

It's not too hard to get two characters to lvl 40 and obtain them for yourself.

I strayed from the righteous path once and became an Ignean for a while, so i know how it feels to have two of these rings equipped.

You feel like you have an edge over the opponent. And that's because you do.

It took me 1 month of asking ppl to sell me one and I consider it worth the price i paid. This means it was hard enough to buy one and I was lvl50 when i got it, so I didn't have it when I was grinding.

Ring of lightning does make sense only if you invest points into SM, so it's only for specific builds. I think it doesn't help that much for pure spell casting mages. For them staff acceleration should be enough (I assume at least every conju has MC, so he can afford points put in staff accel).

My statement is clear : Lightning rings are over the edge of balance :closed2:
