WTF Ignis/Horus

well done guys the three realms come together to do something that could be epic and Ignis Horus have to ruin it. Last time i go to anything with them next time i see red i'm killing it.

Thanks to Skipio though who actually was fighting next to me killing thorkul and not stooping to his realm mates level.

Als nice idea your mistake was inviting ignis. :beerchug:

Well done complaining about being killled by your enemy realm.

Ryzen 07-26-2009 12:57 AM

I don't know if you noticed, but there weren't that many Ignis grouped with you before you tried to kill Thorkul. I don't think many Igneans accepted your "invitation."

Onteron 07-26-2009 12:58 AM

It happened before, and it'll happene again.

Well to be honest, I never saw an invitation. We got some tracks and decided to go have some fun. We have gotten our boss mob event crashed numerous times and i haven't seen posts of crying about it. So if you have a problem with it Gawyn i would say go talk to Robin Hood and cheesburger.
This is a RvR game btw so we dont allign with other realms like syrtis and alsius, and thats why i dont complain about getting interupted while fighting daen rha. Its a game and this is what happens.

Actually that even was initially set up by an Ignis player (was at least an ignis player logging over to tell about the time&date).

The matter itself - ive no problem when someone comes crush such a setup, cheap is though that some player(s) came to the gathering before pretending to participate. Thats nothng new though that ignis plays thatway. This cheap behaviour is main reason that you see more often teaming up syrtis&alsius then other way arund.

Have to say though that there are many honourable and respectable players in ignis and you shouldnt generalize. At the gathering before the attack was actually only 1 Ignis player who later started to attack - there were some more Ignis who did not attack later and who honestly came there to participate - not to crush. SO even if those players talk for "Ignis" its more they talk for their clan or their group - its not whole Ignis like that :)

Apart from that - thanks for the easy rp at least ;)

I guess the only thing I could suggest for you is to keep in mind which players do what and keep in the back of your head that it could happen again. Just watch who you extend your invite to. Don't forget some players may not have even known about this "gathering" and were just roaming the war zone looking for enemies to kill.

I mean it is unfortunate that some players will do such low things and annoy other players in game....and I guess their reason would be "It's a game and if I can do it, why wouldn't I?/It's not a big deal..." It is difficult to deal with such players and the only thing I could recommend is to ignore them and move on. Complaining/ranting about it probably won't do much.

Anyways just a word of caution, I'd advise against creating topics like this for fear of others misunderstanding the concept of this said topic. It pretty much takes one player to take something the wrong way and suddenly they say something misleading and another person misreads that and suddenly this topic becomes a war zone for flaming other people >.<

Other than that just try to enjoy yourself in game. We're here to play the game, not have the game play you...
Alright?:)

I've been gaming for almost a decade now. This is some very sound and good advice. The fact is no matter what you plan or what your intentions are, in a MMORPG environment, you can't predict everything. I've played Everquest, NWN, WOW, and am now (obviously) playing Regnum Online and Vendetta Online, the best way to approach gaming and never leave the game in a bad mood is to learn to have fun no matter what happens in game. :beerchug: Cheers

let's say ignis gave you a reason finally :p
actually i've seen syrtis/alsius teaming on horus since im in wz (sometimes more, sometimes less) ... and thats quite a long time now.
it's 3way-rvr, so players of 2 realms can decide to team up against players of the other realm, yeah ^^
but pls dont say its because of happenings like that one xD

to thorkul-thingy:
as we have seen many times in the past, this kind of "event" isn't working.
there will ever be ppl who like to throw areas into the crowd. and there ever will be thoughts of revenge for last "event" and there is no "innnocent" realm ... :)
and yes, afaik on ALL servers except muspell superbosses are being killed by one realm on its own :fsm:

Actually I only started crashing your events after the first time some Ignis players decided to crash a 3 realm event (I believe it was the second or third time we tried). Instead of complaining I took action, you know: an eye for an eye? Glad I made an impression though. I've got some nice screenies too if ya wanna seem them :drinks:

Neither do we, just because a few of our newer players invite Alsius to do whatever doesn't mean the rest of the veteran players do. However by the same logic, Ignis also allies with Alsius as I've seen countless hunting parties with 2 Ignis/2 Alsius or even better Ignis/Alsius zarkit factories where there's 1 Ignis or Alsius conjurer and the rest are locks and they just pass zarkits around...

Sorta back on topic, I decided to go to this one because the warzone on Horus has been completely deserted ever since the 1.0.7 patch. So I was excited to see that something else would be going on other than grinding...
