About Premium Mounts
 

Hello everyone!

After analyzing this for a long time we have decided to make all mounts premium only. Also, in order to increase the value proposal for your Ximerin, now mounts are permanent and can be named.

The truth is that mounts have never been a good business case as a rent and they represent the premium content that required the more investment. We think that in this way, mounts will become a more attractive product for our customers and if their sales actually pick up, it may open us the possibility of adding more mounts and ways to customize them in the future.

In order for everyone to be able to have a mount, we have added the light horses at a low price and if you look at the whole pricing scheme is a good value considering the previous rent prices.

From now on a mount will be your character's mount for life!

Business wise I think this a good step.

I rarely rented a premium mount basically due to price (think i only ever rented 2), so when i did use a mount, i tended to get a 1 day one with in game gold.

Now you have made it so we actually buy and own the mount at actually a reasonable price, i think the sales should increase

+1 I love this idea.... I just bought my Main an Ignis Steed (looks the nicest imo). Ill bet you sell more horses in a week than in the last 6 months.

h.o so let me get this straight.

you nerf onsl cause it isnt suppose to be for transportation. now you take away light horses for mages w.o prem.

Bwaha nice idea to make players buy ximerin for the first time, I'm impressed :razz: (Even better than paint, I think)

I really dislike the 3 sec cast time, not to mention the increased distance between non-premium and premium players.

Now you can, say, Freeze someone; which is 7s on lvl 1, summon a horse and ride away in safety... :/

New mounts in the future, that sounds appealing to me that hopping green chicken isn't the only choice ^^ I have so many ideas in my head for the mounts. Those that are avaible now... well it seems like only the alsius one has some background and fits to the realm.

Chilko, can you answer to one question? You say, one mount for life, but I can still get rid of one to buy another if I change my mind?

I am not sure how feasible this would be (as it could influence PvP a bit) but maybe you could have e.g. the preliator's war-cry have an effect? (like a +5% attack damage area of 10 meters for 15 seconds?)
Because as it is I don't think I would consider buying a preliator just as a vanity product if I can buy 2 others and 2 100% boosters for the same price...
But the horse for life aspect is VERY nice, thx :drinks:

just wanna mention one thing about the website.............

not all premium items listed there, also the description of mounts should be changed
