Tyr will be merged to Horus
 

Since Swenson has made this public and some Dutch players already have brought this to the Welcome-forum, I hope Niclam doesn't mind me posting this.

Because the server Tyr never really gained numbers since the launch of it, the server was profitable to neither NGD nor UnitedGames, so it was decided to make a server-merge from Tyr to Horus. NGD is at the moment busy making an adequate renaming mechanism for the Dutch players and the merge can be expected in the coming weeks.

Please be nice to the Dutch players and keep in mind that they might not speak English too well.

Anyhow already said HI.

And as I already said, It is a shame that the Dutch players havernt been given the option to what server they move to, but that said its great that ngd didnt abandon those players

Nice to see some sort of server transfer system is in the works (hint hint)

Ive seen a few Dutch players around Horus already, some speak decent English some dont but the same goes for the French Italian Polish etc. players that we already have so I see no issue with the merger.

Hope everything works smoothly in the transfer.

Sorry, but when I came on Horus Tyr just started to have good fights, really pitty it is closing :(

This should probably go without saying, but I'm hoping that horus players will tolerate languages other than english being spoken in realm chat a little more with the closing of Tyr. I realize that english is the "official" languge of horus but I'd rather have Dutch people playing and be exposed to their language than make anyone feel unwelcome. Damaging the playerbase that way is just not a good idea.
