War Captain - Option Poll
 
War captain will go to "6 Users" one per subclass that invade an enemy realm at the point a fort is taken.

Each fort can have 6 war captains for a total 18 per realm

To become war captain you must....

1) Be 50m or closer to the fort when it is captured
2) Have The most RP of your class (plus condition 1)

War captains will be keep their current armor rates but the armor will change to realm guard colors
War captains will have a glowing aura around them and their words will be in RED
example- knight war captain, warlock war captain, marksman war captain would look like this when talking

[WWC] Ramona: Terrors are all ready!
[MWC] Stallion: Let's do it


A bonus 20 rps is given to the players that kill the war captains


War captain is lost when....

1) Fort is recaptured by enemy
2) You log out
3) You walk more than 300m from fort

Just an idea to make RPs worth something to us....
It would also be nice if we could vote for a realm king/queen once a week. (For those that don't have RPs popularity still can help you ;) )

For Horus/Ignis, that would mean that every present at a fort capture is a war captain....

I think the idea rocks, not only because people will listen better I hope, but it will look real cool to I guess, so thats positive for little movies, screenshots etc to:metal::thumb_up::metal:

Like the idea of war captains, but I think that RP stats are not the right approach for choosing them. Having a ton of RP doesn't mean you have the ability to lead, and are respected by your fellow realm mates.

Maybe if it was a vote prior to invasion like if you are at least level 40 you would report to your castle and click an altar or something then type in the name of who you think would be the best leader for battle. This way the realm gets to choose.

I think the level restrictions good because it means that the voters have for nothing else been there awhile and have gotten to know the others in the army.

We have something like this currently, but without the flash. There are realm mates we trust to lead us and we listen to them.

what about people who have multiple alts and dont whore RP

i share my rp over 6 high level chars does that make me any less of a leader then joe farmsalot who only has no other chars and farms RP constantly.

its a good idea i disagree with it using RP to pick though.

This idea sounds good.
But i think only one captain per fort is enough.
when a fort is taken and upgrade to a new lvl 5.
the player that have the biggest Rp's number will received a message like :
"accept to be captain". if he accepts, he will receive extra power + some highlight.
if not. this message will be send to the next biggest rp's player.
Rps can be calculate like this : the total amount of rps on the account.
If the gate is vulnerable, the 3 captains will keep their status while door is vulnerable/broken.
Then, only them will be able to take the gems (well dunno if all of them crashed/log off).
This can bring more coordination during invasion, may be

High RP count does not equal ability (or willingness) to lead, but I like the idea anyway.

Add wosuhecy's idea so that the position can be declined. Don't give the Captain any additional bonuses, and make them worth extra RP if killed. DO make it obvious to enemies who the Captain is so that they can be easily targeted.
