Horus realm chat
 

I just have a question, why on Horus the Realm chat in War Zone is still avaible? From what I know, it was supposed to be there only during the beginnings of the server, when the population was low.
The servers aren't equal, and the Realm Chat in War Zone is in my opinion redundant.

It's not only redundant, it has a massive (negative) influence on the gameplay.

Hell, it would even be beneficial to realm balancing if they would remove it, in a way.

I find it outrageous that you would even suggest this! Without realm chat, how would I know:

1. The current exchange rate for gold and magnanite?
2. Who is mad at whom for not sufficiently assisting/buffing/supporting/healing/protecting then in their last encounter with some enemy?
3. That there are 3 ACAs 250m SE of...somewhere?
and most importantly
4. What new players need me to GIF them some GOLD AND MAGANITS PLZ!!! ?

I think it should be removed too. If it is gone, not only would it encourage clans and creating parties but also it would add a sense of exitement and mystery to the wz because people would not always know where there is a hunter or a small group, or even large one getting ready to pwn :)
Also too much garbage on realm chat probably discourages new players from ever coming back. The community rocks here (personally i think it's the best group of any mmo out there^^), and people won't know that if they read realm chat when logging in lol.

Yup Ulti, you can't imagine how things change on Ra thanks to that. The zerg still exist, but they're not as often without such information on a whole realm chat. You have surprise, you have to look around, you have to depend on people around you. That's the point of a mmo. And all those thing which Gytha said, as well ;]

the main reason syrtis has 50+ zergs is because they allow everyone to know whats happening on realm.

Where as on Ignis Ra you can be dancing with the holas at samal then all of a sudden alga goes red or pinos.

It also gives realms a chance to take it back before the rest get there, or for them to defend a fort entirely from attack.

This gets a huge +1 from me.

Also, on Horus (at least in Alsius) there are a number of people who play with a 1-person-clan. They get away with this because realm-chat exists and they can easily find war party from realm chat. Removing realm-chat would do more to consolidate a lot of the clans since WZ comm relies on clan chats/party chats.
