[Contest] - Show us your Regnum Online Video!!!
 

Hi Community!!!

We're happy to announce that starting today, we're launching the 2012 Regnum Online Video Contest!

The main idea of the video you'll submit, is to represent various aspects of wars and combat in-game in forts, castles and situations like invasions and forts raids!
Besides, you may include Carnival events scenes showing the new Island and all the action in it!

Prizes will be:

• 1st place: 50.000 Ximerin.
• 2nd place: 20.000 Ximerin.
• 3rd place: 10.000 Ximerin.

Besides, the winning video will be uploaded to our site, and will be presented at the Game Developers Conference 2012 (GDC 2012)!!!

The conditions to submit a video are quite simple, but important:

• The video must have the highest graphic quality possible.
• Videos having a [vg_fov] value way too high, will be disqualified. This is in order to prevent having very distorted videos.
• It must contain scenes from all the 3 realms, showing the main differences between them.

Please keep in mind that we'll be receiving your video links in this thread until this next Sunday, February 26th!

Can you numerically define "too high" please?

Don't you think that 3 days is way too much time? You should give us 1 day max, for best results. :p

Lol just noticed, you have 3 days to make the video... Quite impossible if you ask me.

Frosk, can't you replace that with a week? 3 days would be enough if you luckily be online these full 3 days and have some nice wars. (Should be lucky yeah)

3 days is just too short, especially on servers like Horus where the action isn't permanent.

Is it also possible to lets say do video from Raven and get xim to GameSamba account or is it for NGD accounts only (asking about account type, not server, because GameSamba users can access Horus too)?

A note of warning to NGD: This might cause other people to buy badges to go to the island and record footage, but keep in mind that once you show a video that presents the features of the island to the players, no one will need to buy the badge to see what the island is like. Maybe you show us the video AFTER the event is over?
On another note...
Wow 50k is a nice prize. I have a small request, can the video also be posted on a site other than youtube, like on the regnum site? Because youtube is blocked in the country I am in now. (China...)
