Old Tyr player
 

Hey guys, I played Regnum on the server Tyr, but after we got transferred to Horus I stopped playing. Because we were with like 20 people on Alsius at that time we knew eachother's passwords, so if we were losing a battle everyone could use another character. Now it seems that someone sold/dropped/traded all my items.. The good thing though is that I seem to have lvled up 6 lvls.

Is there anyone out there that has some basic lvl 51 armor that I could use (I have no money at all..) and/or help me with all the changes that have happened?

I can kind of understand your situation. I let a real life friend of mine who was new to the game try out my marksman and the next day I found out he traded my epic level 50 shortbow for 10 minor gems...

You might want to try changing your password now via email. Just so that no one screws up the game for you again. Also, discussing on the forums about account sharing with 20 other people may not be such a good idea :P

You could always try:
1) Grinding mobs for money
2) Run around picking up mags and hopefully get someone to buy it for gold
3) Find a friend (a clanmate maybe?)
4) Buy lucky boxes with ximerin and hopefully get some decent armor for your barb

Welcome back! i'm also from tyr :D My name was time-to-kill marksman And time-to-die a conj. What was yours name back than :)

I'm not sure, but I think acc. sharing wasn't always illegal. Maybe it wasn't back then.

So, what has changed:

- new maxlvl, as you have surely have noticed, is 60. Old lvl 50 equals new ~lvl56 in grind duration. Play in war for a while before grinding, to see whether the game is still worth investing that much time. Sometimes there are boosts on exp, loot and/or gold gain, ranging from 50 to 200%.
- as a barb, you won't be very effective against higher lvl (55/60) barbs. Difference of dmg/armor is too big.
- new dual wield weapons have higher dps than old 2h weapons, mostly. At higher levels (58+) this differs with boni on said weapons and socketed gems (2h hammer is good too).
- you can try asking for your old items back via support if you have screenshots of it, but due to how you lost them it is probably not advisable. Not worth it unless it was boss gear or magna weapons.
- archer dmg is ~50% slash now, so you need better resists against slash (and pierce, like before).
- armor system now favors original looks. Try to target bland looking characters.
- dragons and invasion system have been overhauled. Alasthor now wears a skirt and demands to be called Susan.
