Never had a boss drop on my barbarian, have held aggro plenty of times. I've even been in a situation where I got the lion's share of the XP from Tenax, but all I got in in other terms was a metric shitload of various body parts and gems – I held onto these for the longest time in the hope that they had something to do with the planned crafting system that was dangled in front of our noses like the proverbial carrot for so long, but as I'm sure you all know, no dice there.
The last dozen or so times I've helped to kill an Epic mob (so epic... 30 seconds last time we killed Tenax, although empandas probably caused that) I've done it purely so that I was doing something with my realm mates.
