You think a level 50 should only fights level 50 ? Seriously, at fort wars, 95% are level 60, so i guess you mean "Level 50, go grind". Yes, RO has this very bad issue: you have to be at higher level to do anything fun.
And this is why so many newcomers leave before level 40. Just boring quests and stupid grinding. Nice view.
But you're wrong, atm a level 50 warlock is almost as useful (useless?) than a level 60 one, with almost same spells, and damages per second. In wars, he can use beacons and benefits Horn spell, but in smaller fights, a level 60 wm warlock will just rape him.
There should be places to have war fun for all, at any level. And yes, i think, a well-played low level character should have chances to win versus a badly-played higher level char.
And i would like a level 40 afk knight killable in less than 5 minutes for a level 60 hunter...

Time is an investment too. It's as quantifiable as money. And I was pissed at the Warmaster update because I don't believe it was faced with the respect it deserves. On that issue, I think we're on the same page. But that issue has been extensively discussed on other threads and could be solved by adjusting the XP requirements to reach level 60, increasing the amount of XP earned in war, etc...
But I admit I fail to see what that has to do with level 50 players' capabilities in the warzone. And on that point, I think what I expressed before is fairly easy to understand: The differences between a level 50, a level 60 and a warmaster should be noticeable. The differences between a level 50 and a level 60 reside on attributes and the number of skills available, and the difference between a level 60 and a warmaster is the ability to use an additional set of skills. And that's why I think your horn of the wind on a warlock argument is invalid. I think they could adjust its speed bonus value if they thought it was having too much of an impact on the balance of the classes. But needing one ally near to activate it, just doesn't make any sense to me. They'd have to study all the existing speed bonus on every class and, for example, see if a level 50 of a certain class is supposed to out run or not a warmaster of an opposing class. And if they consider it's supposed to, make the necessary adjustments. It shouldn't be like saying "a warmaster of a certain class can catch a non-warmaster of another class, but only if he has a buddy with him". The way I see it, that only makes the "rape" (as you called it) even uglier.
Regarding the warmaster beacons, I expressed my opinion on the previous post.
About the last thing you said, I don't want to go into the default class balance topic because I believe there are other threads to discuss those issues.
