Like I said in the past, it is easy to check if there is already a processus currently run on the same computer, if they would not allow this, they would do this check point.
Many players using two account for grinder and/or perso conjuing at forts.
To keep ressources and less processor usage you can reduce resolution and use window mode (As example, your conju regnum window at 800x600 and the other window at 1024x768 etc... Multiple screen mode help too...)

The Linux client does perform this check and has for years. If it's not anymore then its a bug.
