Why are you so afraid of " mana burn spammers"?
You have dispel every ten seconds ^^
Anyways, more or less mana, it doesn't matter that much, sooner or later you will have to use either a mana drain spell or ambitious, that ~10 seconds you earn with high mana doesn't make much of a difference

I'd rather skill lvl 5 energy borrow if I were you, than all those spells like mana pool and dragon's blood on lvl 5, it's more fun draining mana from an enemy to re-fill your pool
