Merging Haven and Ra would be an interesting experiment. Would it work as intended though? What's the real deal here?

I am absolutely sure, that there would be huge improvements in realm populations and balance. Haven doesn't have quite enough players. Invasions are unfair.

On the other hand, how many players here experienced the true difference between the two servers? I count about five. Increase in numbers doesn't necessarily mean better game experience. Lag, discrimination of small clans, discrimination of language minorities - those would be bound to happen.

Relic lock wouldn't be such an issue anymore, class & realm balance might be easier to improve on for NGD. Having less communities to look after would again decrease the requirements on the developers.

Still, all the positives don't persuade me to be enthusiastic about the possibility. I remember the merge Horus+Raven, which was tbh quite a disaster.

In conclusion, although the possibility of merge doesn't appeal to me, I wouldn't be surprised, if it resorted to it. Who are we kidding, Regnum is struggling. The question is, how much are the clients willing to be positive about this irreversible change, and what will the developers stance be?

For me personally, it is a no.
