statistics, we have more overall players, the realtive number of good players will have increased by the same amount. maybe some players you liked to play with in the past left and since you arent lvling anymore or interacting much with new players you just dont know the new good ones.
Its also harder to spot them in a bigger crowd. I think the thought of having less good players is based on the psychology of your reception.

edit: voted yes since the absolute number should have increased. i hate polls, never find the answer that suits me 100%
