I was very happy with my two first platinum box items. However, I bought two more, and was not very happy. One item was mediocre, not bad but nothing to get excited about. However, the last one I got was a "Normal" marksman armor item, with nothing but a +1 Constitution. I just don't think that is what I would call "platinum" quality. I won't be buying any more of them unless I hear they have gotten a lot better.

I don't expect platinum items to be better than top-quality stuff that can be looted, but I do expect it to be better than normal quality with a +1 in a less-important stat (I would have preferred +Dex, Int, Concentration or Mana over constitution for a marksman).
