Now, about the price of the lucky boxes...
This is a bit more difficult to balance. If the price of lucky boxes is decreased, then the balance will tend to swing towards premium users who have used boosters to level. However, if the price is increased, remains the same, then balance obviously favors those that have not leveled with boosters. At the moment, in my opinion, the price of platinum and (especially) gold lucky boxes is far too high. But then again, how many hours of grinding does it take to yield an item that is decent and how does this compare to the number of XP scrolls used in that period of time?

Very good post mate.
my 2 scents on the subject although I don't want to leave any trails for tracking..
I have to agree that even though the current loot system does not give you much chances of getting good items it plays it's part in the game
- it may be sometimes frustrating and boring to hunt for that breastplate you are missing either by grinding or trading but when you finally get it you know it is something you appreciate, not just a common item. I think this also favors those players who have more time to play, grind or just simply have really good luck but we'll - I'm happy with the chances of getting special drops but either the chances of normal drops or the economy in general should be changed but that is altogether another topic.
Thank you for you Chilko again for responding to us. In my opinion, the prizes of the boxes should be cut down - the platinum ones cost me about 8 euros atm

So I vote for the prize cut-down but not too much because then evryone would be buying as much boxes they need before they get top gear and this would unbalance the game towards those who have more money (would make NGD rich though

)
OT - the hunt continues: If anyone on Alsius/Horus has a lvl 47+ hunter breastplate with good bonuses to sell pm me.
