It is a mistake... The pet hunters that are using confuse and killing people in the warzone with dualshot 3/4 + pet + basic shot + ensnare 4/5 are the problems.... The problem is confuse + pet that keeps bashing someones head.
If the person was not confused 99% of the time even if a hunter ambushed them they could defend themselves.
