Fair points , somewhat erroneously applied but I realize you've been fed the
revisionist versions of those events , I'm kind of old and actually saw many
and participated in several; so I have a different perspective.
I'll unwind this a bit out of order but since the video distorted most of it I'm
sure that wont bother.
MLK, yep he was killed for his belief that all people should be equal, I have no
idea how that follows into Bobby Seal and the Black Panthers ,the former was
a peaceful resistance , the later an armed militant movement.
Unless the producder is trying to show contrast it demeans Kings message.
(an aside, Bobby Kennedy killed over this injustice not Jack)
I'd have presented something showing the real hate that inspired those
men to such extremes.
Ali was a professional athlete, he so abhorred violence that he refused to go
to Viet Nam to fight.... and went to jail for it . (and never complained or
made excuses, he did what he believed and lived by it; admirable no matter
what your sentiment on the war itself.)
now I'm no political science expert but referencing Marx ,Lenin and Stalin
seems like a bit of overkill , none of the elected leadership in this country
have ever called for class revolution on those scales, the worst case that
could be made would be against Ronald Reagan and his drive to subvert
by deceit to a facist nationalism.
Now dont get me wrong Hellbound ,I think its great that you are using your
head for someting besides a hair farm( my pop used to say that
) .
My point is that the video seems slapped together incoherently and the parts
that do make any sense were clipped out of context only to be spun by an
angry film maker with an agenda , if he believed what he preached he would
have used images of the holocaust museum shooter instead of the sick kid at
VT for example.
You make good points that people shouldnt believe everything they see or
hear, this video is a good example of why,its full; start to finish of misinformation.
anyhow, +1 to you, but still a thumbs down for the video itself .
