Enemy Surveillance Fails

I am experienced with fails of this spell (usually use it on lvl4).

I see no tracks and in next moment enemy(s) entering view distance(about 100m).

Last time I've detected warrior in 120m. In the next time there was no tracks on radar, but warrior was very close behind some cristals.

Anyone notice such issues?

Tracks don't work if there are objects in the way such as forts, rocks, trees etc.

It's a shame but I guess it adds "tactics"

Indeed, just keep your eyes open

Never fully trust on the tracking spell

No, tracking works fine to me.

It doesnt work if something is blocking the target, but IMO the probl is that sometimes IT WORKS when there is a obstacle...
Not hard to see a hunter tracking when u r behind a tree and seems like he got your track, revealing or running strafing, etc, like he knew u were there.

It's simple guessing. If he had you on track quite close and suddenly lost you, and there are few obstacles around, there is a good chance that you are behind one of that obstacles.

Speaking of tracking, do valleys, hills, slopes affect tracking? I've heard both yes and no. Anyone can clarify?

No, only obstacles like trees and rocks.
