I'm on ubuntu feisty.
I think this isn't a firewall issue, this is a fresh install, I didn't touched iptables. ./rolauncher open an "accept license" mask, I accept a new mask asks for username and password, I give them new mask, on a blue field it writes "verifying", then "ready", I click on "play" new bigger mask saying "error - cannot establish connection with server" any hint? |

I was using the wrong rolauncher binary. Just in case someone is silly like me: check your HOME/regnum directory and you will find the right executable... |

okay, I think I have a connection problem. I got the game running, made a character. The graphics in the place I usually start are all starting to load. The sound, or at least the background music in the title screen, works.
However, after a minute or two it tells me I have been disconnected from the server and forces me to quit. Then in the command line the only error it gives me is "Found # messages leaked" with # ranging from 1-6. Is this a server problem or one related to 3d graphics or a sound problem? I've been doing quite a bit of tweaking with the latter two, so I'm not sure what's going on. If it is a server problem, is there any way to over come it?! |
