Default Improve Hunters

I would like to see hunters become faster, better and stronger.

More passive speed because we sometimes don't get away.

Much stronger attacks because we don't kill fast enough.

And more evasion because we get hit too much.

What do people think about this?

How many threads/posts do we see about hunters being too powerful?

I'm just showing the flip side.

Every argument should have an antithesis.

Then why they have to see more powerful.

That many threads were made with an argument in mind, if it was correct or not i dont know.

When I look at it at a different perspective, I'm beginning to think this is a good thing. Instead of finding ways to nerf other characters, find and suggest ways to make your class stronger. In the end, a suggestion is merely a suggestion. It's the balance team's and NGD's responsibility to decide whether or not it will be good for balance. Getting the best out of a character by refining its strengths could be better both for balance and player morale than nerfing.

And how many Hunters whined in the past to get to this point? I don't know if you remember but I do. When they had 10% passive speed they whined and whined to get it to 15% (which NGD unfortunately did); before the patch was made, I already wrote that it was a bad idea, Hunters already got away with 10% easy.

How many Hunters whined when the changes in SotW and Camouflage, which both are mostly advantageous towards them (SotW nerfs Marksmen more and the new Camou is arguably better - or worse for their enemies)?

Don't worry that Hunters have a "lobby" which does defend their interests and so far the wind has been on their side. Now, I am one of the voices in the English-speaking forums on Hunters being 5% too fast passively, and on Archers' Evasion being an overpowered tree which makes Marksmen completely out of control and Hunters uncatchable for Knights, Warlocks and often Barbs/Marks too which encourages the "hit and run" practice I am against. *It makes the Archers encounters an Archer vs Archer only game and I cannot approve of that.*

My wish: have the Evasion spells *balanced* over the other trees (for example, Spell Eludes in short bows, Acrobatics in Long Bows, Mobility/Dodge/SotW can remain in Evasion) because it's a damn cheap tree that doesn't really imply sacrifices besides powerpoints and *all* Archers use it extensively. I know an Archer who touted himself as a "Marksman true to his vision and would not use Evasion to an high level" who now uses SotW . I don't blame anyone for using spells available (I myself have Evasion maxed on my Hunter and Marksman), but in the unlikely event that MegriM or a balance team member is reading my posts, I hope to show that not everyone is satisfied with the current state of affairs.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion and have it known -- I use my right fully .

Btw, I don't agree with Cumeri at all on pet nerfs; too me pets suck as they are and they should be WAY better and controllable. I know NGD is working on that aspect, but the Evasion is the real problem. Passive speed is imho unfair against Knights but I guess I can live with it, I just think 10% was good enough for Saguenay or Maximus who always escaped and fought very well. But maybe that's requiring too much player skill instead of passive character bonuses (of course Onslaught would have to be changed back maybe).

nah just remove all those bloody chance spells then you can't blame the hunter if you lose. And you'll have much cooler battles
