Default Barbarian statistics

Hail Regnum community!

I would like to ask those who play the barbarian class which statistics do you value most on gear and why? I've visited the Regnum wiki and have seen the great progress made into understanding the mathematics behind all the fancy graphics, and would like your opinions on things.

I'll be rolling a barbarian shortly and would love the communities input, especially for starting stats.

I am no expert on barb, but from what I have seen, A lot of barbs concentrate on 3 areas. They focus on (in no particular order) :
A: Attack speed
B: Strength
C: Constitution.

Sure, if they can get something that give some mana as well they will take it but those three look like the area of focus. In recent times , Hit chance on gauntlets (because of crit %) have come into focus as well.

As for starting stats, it seems that Constitution and Strength are the areas to focus on. I would say , the amount of initial points do not make a huge impact but, depending on the race you are rolling, it could make a difference.

For my barb, I sacrificed all the points into constitution because I did not want to focus on strength as I could make that up with AS gear, medium weapons and Strength gear later on. For me, Strength gear is easier to get so I put my 5 points to the harder to get bonus, constitution.

I may be abit biased, as I love my Constitution / HP, but for a Barb, in most cases, Const > Strength.

1 point of Strength is... 2.5 (less with faster weapons) damage with a very slow weapon? (Correct me if I'm wrong.) Whereas 1 point of Const = 23.5 hp.

If I was you, I'd put my 5 starting points into Const.

However, if you live to regret this choice, you can reset your 5 starting points and reset them with a premium item.

Depends on what weapon you will use and what you prefer. I prefer HP and damage bonusses.

1. Constitution - hp hp hp hp
2. Intelligence - There is no such thing as having too much mana on barb (I have ~1,600 on mine )
3. Strength (I use 1 point in each blunt/piercing passives), it's a raw core-dmg base bonus that as far as I can tell does not fit into the "type" of dmg that armors are strong/weak vs it so it's very consistent from one target to the next.
4. Concentration (good base-stat from Nordo race), Hit Chance, Crit Chance and Spell Focus are nice.
5. Attack speed is nice but until Alsius gets access RoL's it's foolish to try to out-AS Ignis barbs.

As long as we know no actual formulas at all, i really doubt that everything is so simple. IMHO global parameter affects many voluables. I.e. i guess that strength affects CH chance and success chance of some spells.
There are barbs in Syrtis who use STR setup, their playing is very impressive.

As far as I know, Strength typically affects damage and your carry weight.
Concentration affects the probability of landing spells and in a small way affects hit chance and now critical chance. I think the number matt posted is not too far off calculations that were researched by others.
Impressive damage is a combination of several factors, Strength being one. The other values listed above along with character build, war experience and gear completes the package.
