Default Fulminating needs to go?

Opinions?

Just curious on what people might think on the skill, you can over kill an archer/mage in any fort war... Sometimes even a warrior.

Honestly I wouldn't mind if the skill was removed. For now it's just one more thing to kill a lot faster for me imo.

Warriors have some aspects, that have to be buffed, and others that have to be nerfed, or removed entirely. I do feel that fulminating is too much. No class should be able to solo kill another in the duration of one knock.

1+

Always said fulminating was to much,

For mages to die under protection of pylons and aura's in 1 hit is ridiculous.
No matter how much fun it was at the time, I do agree it has to be removed.

Fulminating is excessive with some setups, personally i never liked the skill but i never really tried to maximize its effect either.
I dont have the attack speed or damage to make good use of it, always preferred to work with control rather than damage.

I guess my play style is quite outdated these days.

This overpowerd spell was added just to make warriors population to grown up...
I am very sure NGD will nerf this spell when population of barbarian will be excessive.

It is already excessive... 70% of Fort wars are warriors. 45% is Barb.

I agree. Fulminating is the opposite of what ranged versus melee balance should be heading to. Warriors had some serious problems with ranged classes just keeping their range forever, so they made knights immortal and barbarians able to insta kill everything. That way a 1on1 fight consists only of running. Either the fight is over without the barbarians ever reaching their target, or it is over because they’ve reached it. Dumb!

Less damage for barbarians, less kiting ability for ranged classes, please.

Thats not dumb compared to earlier when you struggled to reach a marks hitting you for 300 only to hit him for 300.

The real problems for warriors dont come form kiting either, most times enemies can be caught quite easily if you support each other, thats if they look for more than just to run as far away as possible.

I think I had some of the most interesting and fun fights in open field as a barb with this dynamic, before everyone was horned, beaconed or both.
With some luck we will get something close to that very soon, im at least quite hopeful for the coming updates.

It should make sense to play different classes for different reason, they cant all be equally effective and perfectly balanced for all situations.

The solution to this problem is not giving barbarians more damage, but nerfing marksman defence. Which happened.

Exactly. That’s fun. But for this to work warriors need to reach their target, and rather fast at that, and the target should not die so easily, too.

Its ok to loose Fulminating for barbs. As long as the other classes get nerfed as well.

Or better yet, more hp and defense or speed.
