Default I get "You have been disconnected from the server". But the server's not down.

Hello!

I reinstalled the game because of it freezing, maybe eating 100% CPU, i don't know. But now when i connect, then select/choose the character i want to play with i get this, click me!

I know the server's not down because it takes 5-10 seconds before i get disconnected, so i've seen that there're people playing. I don't think this would help, but i play on Linux Ubuntu Dapper Drake. If you need to know something more, even though i don't think its needed, just tell me.

Thanks in advance.

No it doesn't sound like hardware probs to me, what it sounds like is you've got some sort of firewalling, I don't know exactly how regnum uses this, but I've seen the same behaviour on ftp servers, ok so not the same exactly, but the symptom is the same. I would suggest checking so you don't have a firewall blocking some ports.

I run Linux and have no idea of how to open the firewall conf. I downloaded a firewall conf. program yesterday, but i didn't do anything. This has never happend before, till yesterday when i downloaded you-know-what. I run as i said before, Linux Ubuntu Dapper Drake. If you know, please tell me how to do this..

Thanks.

[Edit]

By the way, i have no idea what options to set and what to not, you know? There's some settings i have to choose yes and no on when i first open the program, but i have no idea what to do.

As root, (or using sudo), type iptables -L

I find myself saying this a lot lately, but have you checked that your router isn't blocking it? It seems the more likely culprit than your distro coming preconfigured with a firewall that also happens to block out regnum. Then again, I use gentoo, so I'm used to things not coming with much at all.
