Thank you Alsius!
And also to Ignis and Syrtis for the bloody great fight we've ever had so far at Samal. In fact, I think the battle is still going on right now as I'm typing this thread, albeit without much Alsirians this time. Although we were few and both enemies practically outnumber us 4 times each we managed to hold out extremely long with relatively few losses (special thanks to Xzorstlok, Reuhman, Talek, Niola and all conjurers who were there but I didn't catch. I didn't die once at all thanks to you guys!).
The war party responded extremely well to coordination, and quickly too. Everyone looked out for each other instead of going all out gung-ho and was still able to survive when on various occasions we were pinned between both Ignis and Syrtis, at times completely surrounded too. Also much thanks to those who kept coming back to aid us, knowing we were well outnumbered and by comparison was just a thin blue streak between the reds and greens. Although we never managed to breach the fort (Ignis really paid attention to our movements, kudos to you guys!) we did a heck lot of damage to both sides. It was fun watching certain enemies die over and over again. I hope someone got it all on video, I'd love to watch it over and over again. The last bit where we were pushed back over the bridge was very climactic, and I felt privileged to have been one of the few to still survive until the end to experience it. Again, thank you Alsius. You guys were awesome! Hope we can do it all over again some other time! Edit: Oops! I knew how to spell your name backwards and forwards, I was just being butterfingered. Fixed it now :P Last edited by amade; 10-18-2007 at 11:17 PM. |

Oh yes, I forgot. How sinful I am for not remembering to thank NGD for the relatively low lag I experienced during the whole fight
Thank you NGD! For less crashes and lower lag (at least for me :P) |

Yeah awesome fight, it just ended now. I was among those who finished you after the wooden bridge, very nice resistance, Goat gods praise you . Syrtis was both a lot (I'd say 50 easy, way more than us, and we were a lot) and playing well (they held the fort even when we broke the door), especially reviving almost every one of them. They held Samal very well. Very nice war.
