Hey,

I just let you know that I left the game one week ago to see how it worked out, and I'm not coming back. The fun/boredom ratio has become too low for quite some time but the game is somewhat addictive, so leaving it altogether was the proper course of action. I have been reading the forums still and I must say I feel really relieved now that I'm weaned from Regnum

.

Aside from that, the Regnum is not taking the direction I wish it would, both in terms of community (getting younger everyday), teamplay (mostly not improving) and game design (more and more item and stats based, rather than putting the emphasis on the player skills). Of course this is purely my interpretation and I'm sure a lot of people wouldn't agree; and I really don't care anymore. Still I hope for the game to get better, and some day NGD starts advertising the game more aggressively and especially among GNU/Linux users (because Linux support is the true competitive edge the game has over its competitors).

Finally, I still had a lot of fun playing the game. I'd like to thank all my in-game mates and enemies (especially those who know the meaning of fairplay) and wish you fun for your remaining days on Regnum (I won't name anyone because I would likely miss some

). Maybe now that a bigged-mouthed noob like me left the game, Ignis is gonna own and make use of better strategies

. That's all I can wish for. I'll surely be on the forums for some time till I get bored as well.

I hate to see you go Elrik, you were always the more aggressive of my friends, I remember lots of times we had in Regnum. You are a great strategist, when it comes to war. You are smart in planning out battles, and you really knew how to ride the waves.

Another Ignean and friend of mine leaves... I know you won't be the last. I hope to talk to you when I can... Maybe we weren't always clear with each other, and maybe you don't think so, but you showed me a good deal of stuff and carved a peice of what I have become.

I don't know what else to say because im shocked, and in a way not suprised. I wish you good luck in your future.
