Cannot get quest

I cannot get the second quest from Cirdale, The Fire Rune - The First Circle one. Any ideas as to why not or how to fix this?

What are the exact details? Is the 'accept' button missing?

might be bugged... try rebooting the game and if it still works post a new thread asking NGD if it bugged...

No need to post a new thread. This should be the thread he uses for anything concerning this. Anyway, it would help some more if you gave some more details, as in why can't you get the quest?

Additional details...sorry that I was not clearer. The quest button is missing, and after 4 reboots, it still will not reappear.

I did the first one which is to touch the altar, and upon returning, had the window close real quickly when I interacted with Cirdale. After that I got no more quest opportunities from him, as had been the case previously from other characters in this series of quests.
