Can't find friend in Initiation Valley

Hey guys,

My friend and I are trying to play together and he just signed up with his account. I wanted to help him level but I log on and into initiation valley but can't find him anywhere... does anyone know what the deal is? We are both on Horus, the english server. Thanks.

Are you sure you are both in the same realm?

If you put your pointer on top of the compass you will get some coordinates. Those could be handy when trying to find each other.

Also: relog to make sure you're not having an out-of-body-experience (sometimes your client somehow gets detached from the server, so you are allowed to walk anywhere, but for everyone else you're not moving at all).

Well, the problems may be:
-You are not on the same server
-You are not on the same realm

If you are sure that he's online and in your same realm and server, add him to your "Friends list" (As you may have done). If the small light near his name is green, he's online and in the same server.

Then, try to talk with him with a private chat. It doesn't matter where in the realm is him (For a private chat type: "/chat (Friend)"), and try to meet at the same location. For example, in the first village.
If all works you would meet there in some minutes.
