Server down for maintenance

We have taken the server down for maintenance tasks.
Worth mentioning, we won't do a character wipe for now.

We will be back shortly.

Yes, there will be at least one character wipe more (on commercial launch).

I dont get this.
The devs have said it a dozen times: There will be one more character wipe.
But I always see people in the forum asking for this.

By the way, NGD, if I am right you are about to launch your first comercial premium content with this upcoming version, right?
But, if you are about to do a character wipe.. who would then like to vaste money on a char that would however be wiped?

I`ve not played for long and probably haven`t read every thread on the forum, sorry if my blatant ignorance caused offense

I thought NGD (who I give great thanks to for this superb game) might leave the characters on, in order to inspire the new players.

I don´t think they´ll charge for premium content in the beta. Perhaps they´ll give some ximerin (currency for premium content) so we can test those things to see if they work properly.

I must admit a character wipe would be a bit harsh... would seriously consider going premium - though definately not for a character to be wiped out.

Would be more interested to see a facillity to keep multiple charachters continued (as it is now) and maybe to store characters on the client side if they are not going to be used for a long time (to help server space) - a simple checksum should help prevent any (unmentionable) cheating.
