Main thing a knight needs to to is to keep himself save. If you want to block, you'll need to get in Shields Precise Block and Block(the passive) as high as you can get. Also, Shield Bash is a great dizzy spell to prevent your enemies from casting spells. Deflecting projectiles is nice against archers and Run Over is worth his points, if you're knocked you can't fight. If you've the points you could also get yourself an aura to help your team.
In vanguard Army of One is really nice when charging into enemy lines, it will keep you alive much longer. Taunt is useful at level 1 to make a hunter's pet easier to kill. Challenge is a great skill to cancel a hunter's camouflage casting or to dismount a player at a horse. I like Stone Temple myself, to have more health and better health generation and if you're really a health junky, then Troll's Skin can also be useful. In Tactics Feint and Kick are awesome. Knock down spells a great to prevent an enemy from running, casting buffs or attacking you, they can't do anything while being knocked. Spring is needed to get to people running from you. Caution can reduce your received damage by a nice amount. Defensive Stance is useful when standing at fort gates, where movement speed isn't very useful. In slashing Disabling Limb is very nice, an enemy with a speed penalty can't get away from you. For doing some damage Charge is mostly better for knights than South Cross. The dexerity passive is useless, do not put points in it, but the anti-blunt passive is nice. Devastate is useful to cast at places where a hunter might be hidden, but you won't need it often enough to make it worth to put points in it. I would also advice you to get a spear and Balestra in piercing, to make catching runners easier. The main duty of a knight is not to deal damage, you've other classes to do that. Your job is to take damage, disable enemies and to keep your team safe. For more information you can also look here: http://www.regnumonline.com.ar/forum...ad.php?t=20784 But pay more attention to the last pages than the first, skills have changed over time.

Martial Reflexes doesn't seem to do much, I would spend my points elsewhere.
Knight's main attribute is strength. Somewhere in this subforum, there should be a detailed topic with information about attributes, but I can't find it right now.

Sorry for the double post, but this is to make the topic highlighted again.
I found a link with explanations about attributes here: http://www.regnumonline.nl/forum/showthread.php?t=24476
