NG3D 2.0 Questions,
Like many others I veiw NG3D 2.0 with a mix of hope and fear, Hope that it will improve the game and fear that itll be a total balls up or make the game unplayable for anyone without a powerfull gaming Pc, anyway I was wondering...
How will performace be effected on high end Pc's compared with lower end Pc's? also, How far along in NG3D 2.0? Have any armour/character designs been finalised yet? Have any mobs been changed? Dragon and Epic mobs I am excited about mainly If so, could we see see screen shots of any? Do you have a planned date to finish on? If so when? Even a specific month is better than "sometime in the future, hopefully later this year" Is anything planned to be released with it? Duel Weilding etc. Basicaly, if NGD has any more info can we read about/see it giving out a little teaser shot every few weeks is a sure way to keep people interested

I doubt they are redoing all the models, they will just have more polygons.
If anything character models will be changed, tops. Possibly with new armors or something. I would be surprised if NGD actually finished it in Q3 too. So far it looks, and I assume, NG3D2.0 will bring nothing with it aside from more eye candy to hide problems with. |

You won't need a powerful computer, in fact, the whole purpose of the new engine is to be more resource-efficient. You will be able to play in the same old hardware you currently have with a slight performance gain, but if you have a new computer then it will be far more efficient.

Chilko said it would solve the freezing frame problem when seeing a huge army/city, that's what I'm looking forward to.
