I just saw the log on the login screen and I was wondering why us F2P dont get a bonus or something?

"2009/12/22: Merry Christmas: Ximerin Bonus!
Starting today (Tuesday December 22) at 13:00 GMT until Monday January 4 2010 at 13:00 GMT there will be a 20% Ximerin bonus for each purchase during that period.
Go to the Buy Ximerin section now!
The Regnum Online team wishes you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year"

Its not just the P2P players that celebrate Christmas you know?

I mean can we at least get a 20% or so bonus on xp? I would like to know that NGD wishes us a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year too...

(if I missed something and f2p do have a bonus or NGD did give us something sry for the post ^^)

I can't paste .nl links for you I'm afraid, but this is what the Dutch site says(yea, it's not translated):

Christmas event!
The middle island in the center of the map (War Zone) will be accessible to all realms. This zone will have combat disabled and also a global chat for all realms will be available automatically.

Christmas trees will be spawned throughout the entire world. Players will have to explore and look for them since there are scarce. These trees give a present to anyone who interacts with them (once per tree).

Event Requirements:
- No level restrictions
- Search for Christmas trees all over the world that give random prizes or a Special Christmas Hat
Between December 22th, 2009 (13:00, GMT) and January 4nd, 2010 (13:00, GMT). 13 days.

At least at the beginning the central island wasn't functioning as it's supposed to. (On Horus) You could attack people and the local chat disappears all the time making discussing with other realm members virtually impossible or at least very annoying.

The x-mas trees are functioning nicely, all though one could always be luckier with the gifts.

This happens on RA aswell.

NGD is aware of this issue and is looking for a way to fix it as we speak.

I knew about this but this doesnt match up remotely to getting 20% off of Xim purchases.

not only that but NGD are so money hungry they took away all realm bonuses and gave ignis I think the 10% one (in hours)

Why should they make it match?

The realm balance bonus is being calculated by a bonus. I assume this means only Ignis has less players than the other two realms. And a company has to make money, zomg, that's new.

Id like to ask Ignis/Horus players to stop killing anyone who comes onto the center isle, its not ment to be possible so is taking advantage of flawed code.

10-15 people killing everyone as soon as they get off the boats is hardly in the christmas spirit

umm because other people that cant buy xim play this game and grind through the tedious grinding too.

nice try to make an excuse but it doesnt work. last night/early this morning (around 3am) alsius+ignis still had there correct bonuses. now since I have logged/since the event started only ignis has a 10% one. so no its bs. NGD makes money without taking away the bonus
