Mage or Conjurer for Syrtis?
Hi, I am currently still on initiation island, and I can't make up my mind on wheter to be a mage or a conjurer. I thought it would be a good idea to ask the people of Syrtis which would be more helpful on the battlefield, as I intend to play for a long time. I would also like to know some of the english speaking users. I have heard Sardid and Angelwinged_Devil are good leaders in Syrtis, and I would like their opinion on what subclass they would find most helpful. If I can ever find some clan members of The Guardians of Power, I would like to join. Most everyone seems pretty nice here. My game name is Herzbrecher. Thanks for your thoughts.

Suggestions?
I am currently level 8 and will have to decide between warlock and conjurer very soon. Please reply with your honest opinion, and why you think I could help you best with that subclass. Thanks again, and sorry if I am being annoying.

warlocks and conjurers both are really useful on battlefield that depends on how you like to play, if you like Damage dealers then you should be a warlock, if you like to heal and revive people then be a conjurer

hey there Meierling/Herzbrecher
first of all thank you for the kind words, I'll try to get a hold of you if not my guildmates does first Although I have a busy homework week from now on :/. Although the answer you are looking for, warlock/conjurer really depends on how you like to play. Conjurers are more a defencive kind of mage who uses a summon to do most of his damage while the warlock uses really offencive spells. I'm a warlock myself, but at the moment they are a pain to level up because you constantly need to rest, but I have the war zone as a fun motivation to aim for (level 30 at least.) Which makes it easier. First at the level of 26 you are able to avoid resting so much. Orcus is a conjurer too and is a part of our leader table. I'm sure he'll be more than willing to give some good conjurer advices if you chose to be one. Although conjurers heal, buff, enchant and summon. It's mostly common for a conjurer to heal and summon. More info taken from the main site: Warlock: Offensive discipline. Gives the player the ability to cast devastating spells on the target. Conjurer: Defensive discipline. Allows the player to summon creatures and use defensive spells. Although, from your posts I would say you'd make a good conjurer . |

Neither conjourers nor warlocks ever have to rest when training. Just turn Mana Control on 11 (after you are level 21), and use ambitious sacrafice. This will give you unlimited mana. Just keep your shield on so your health never gets hurt. And conjourers don't even have to worry about that, because they can heal themselves. You can be almost dead with no health/mana as a conjourer, and give yourself full health and mana in less than 30 seconds. Warlocks may have to rest every so often if they get damaged really bad.
Anyways, just thought I'd point that out. Most people don't turn mana control up for a long time. I can't stand to see any mage resting, because it is unnecessary |

After lvl 50 this is how you are: You will not have time to have a summon in a heated battle; especially if there are many players at a fort and not many conjurers. You will spend the majority of your time healing people which is not so bad. You will also get a chat message from dead people. This will mean that they are dead and need to be revived. Conjurers can do some good damage. There are several spells under mental that will aid in damage. I can do good damage with out my summon, but no where near a warlock. If you play your cards right it is still fairly easy to take out a high lvl warlocks as a conjurer. All in all a conjurer is a very fun character to train and fight in the war with, but takes some patience in the war zone as it can get frustrating at times when there are many players and not many conjurers at a fort to heal. The thing I do not like the most is when there are players at a fort that need healing or help, and the conjurers are running off trying to fight people. Conjurers are at a fort to help not fight a lot of the times. So my question to you is if you become a conjurer will you help heal or are you going to try and fight? If you lean more towards the latter you need to become a warlock because there is no use for a conjurer that will not heal or revive because they are too busy trying to get realm points.

i was so shocked when i lvled my conj and noticed that. as a warrior u have to rest all the time! mages are just cheap when it comes to lvling. the switch from warrior to conj is even worse in the WZ. completely diffrent game. but its fun healing ur group and conj have some fun spells to annoy the enemy |

Hello, I´m agree with Refe, he´s a very good Conjurer, and I can add something for you, always all the PJ need a conjurer, always, in war, leveling up, always, but they don´t need a warlock at the same way.
Think by yourself, see you later!!!!! |
