not really it is close to trelle, also thats a normal size hunt party for any realm pretty much, looking at the usual ping pong from Trelle save to Alga, it seems quite reasonable

This to me just shows the problems with Horus in a nut shell. 4 person parties should be considered small and easily defeated. I won't comment on the area because people tend to go where they can find people so perhaps they might end up in a spot with lower lvl mobs or maybe they started at PP2 and tracked there then were gonna move in time, who knows honestly. But my main point is even in a 40ish grind spot, 4 people should be able to be easily defeated, especially if multiple classes and not all hunters so they can't all hide as easy. So to me, no I don't think it is over-kill, the game should be based on working with a team and people tend to go where they can find action. So if they find someone or a group in a lower lvl grind spot I don't see anything wrong with them camping there to try to find fun in hopes whoever they killed might get more of there realm mates to come to try to increase the action instead of running around aimlessly for an hour and not running into anyone anywhere else (which is easily and sadly accomplished on horus).
Edit: I am assuming this is horus cause of the names I saw in the screenshot. Also because if this was Ra somehow I doubt this picture would even have made it's way to this board as that group would be killed fairly fast from my experience with grinding a alsius barb in that area on Ra. |

the point DTK is trying to make is that this particular hunt party should be at the Orc Camp or Imperial Beach hunting grinders more on thier level, but instead they're killing grinders alot lower levels than them. ever hear the phrase "taking candy from a baby"?
Theres nothing wrong with this or any rule against this but i hope they enjoyed the 1rp they got from every grinder they found. |
