keep getting a erro message when quitting

i keep getting this message every time i quit.

"There was a connection problem.

Please try entering the game again."

because of this I have to go and set the video back up again because it's not remembering the settings.

you have the set the vid settings outside of the game. that error message you get happens to everyone. its not an error.

I'm new to linux very limited knowledge. how would i set the vid settings outside of the game.

when you go to log in, before you choose server, press options. after that it should be pretty obvious.
