Default Changelog preliminary version

Hello, this is the preliminary version of the Changelog. Amun is now open for you to test all this new features. Please post all your comments about it.

New: Forts 3D models have been revamped. Gameplay around these structures is similar to the previous version of them, however, the new design allows different gameplay strategies.

Modified: Resurrection Altars, attached to each fortification in the War Zone (forts and castles) have been added.

Modified: The Golden Dragon wish “There can be only one” has been improved.
New: A new Golden Dragon wish has been added, it will give 5000 Warmaster Coins to all players that select the wish.

Modified: The Warmaster Quest “A Precise Blow” can now be repeated once a week. L

Gameplay

Modified: The rules of the invasión system have been restaurated to the previous versión.

New: Alternative entrance to all realms. Once a realm becomes vulernable, a ship will appear in the beach close to the wall of the attacked real. This vessel will be able to transport players from the attacker side within the inner side of the invaded real, creating an alternative entrance.

New: Dateable altars system. Each resurrection altar it’s related to a fortification. If this structure gets conquered by an invader realm, the altar will be shut down and the players of the defeated players will respawn on the wall of their own realm. The altars cannot be captured and used by the invader side.
New: Distinctive resurrection time. The resurrection time for the characters will remain on 8 second, except for castles and forts. In that case, the time was extended to 20 seconds.

Modified: Due to the Resurrection Altars close distance with the fortifications, if a player is eliminated near that zone in the map, Regnum Points will not be discounted.

Balance:

New: System that deactivate the realm Gems during times of low population in the game world. The system doesn’t allow capturing the gems in predefined time schedules. During this time, the gems will be blocked by a visual effect.

WHAT?!?!

Wow, I do not like this change. More frustration, less war.

20 seconds to respawn... AND THEN the time it takes it get back to the fort from the realm gate?!

Looking very good. A couple collision bugs around the base of Meni , Samal rear circular tower but very good job so far.

Concept worth a try. The timer of 20 seconds would balance out the proximity to forts.

On wish rotation so I suppose this could work out. By all players , this means level 1 to 60 yes? For clarification this means that only those who selected WM coin wish and that wish won would cash in yes ?

Is a complete reversal? Meaning is the gate strength back up? Is invulnerability removed?

Vulnerable as in the "vulnerable" timer is in place or vulnerable as in the gate is broken? Any thoughts on the AI strength here as opposed to the main gate?

20 seconds seems like a lot, but willing to give it a try. It could be reasonable considering the proximity of the saves to forts. Resurrection at the wall is 8 seconds. I think this could go to 5 seconds.

Question: if old rules for invasions are in play, if you lost all your forts and the gate is in danger, where do you resurrect? If I recollect properly, you could not rez at gate if it was in danger. What normally happened is that you saved at an inner altar. Suppose you just logged on and you were saved in war zone. However you cannot rez there because you don't have it. You can't rez at gate because it is in danger. What then? can you now rez at gate no matter the condition?

Debatable. Wait and see. What about no XP and kills in that zone not counting towards daily adventures? Are those removed as well?

I am willing to give this a go. I think it is necessary in the short term for smaller servers.

New altar system seems clunky. Had a bug already while in Amun.

I was bound to new Aggy save. Greens capped Aggy and Imp. Gates went Orange. I went to trell, clicked on Trell door (trell was still ours), I somehow then teleported to Skolheim noob spawn location at the docks.

Then I suicided, drowning myself -> back to the docks.

Somehow it was messed up royally, just thought I'd report that.

Also, we should still have a central WZ save that is always on, the close-proximity saves @ the forts are fine so long as we have another save maybe halfway between our market and our gate in the WZ)

I dunno, I haven't played in awhile since I believe Warmaster skills ruined the tactics, cooperation and fun of this game. Not so sure these new forts or save/invasion mechanics will make it any less frustrating or monotonous.

Yeah, I agree with that.

Running back from the gate to the forts just take too long. I don't want to rely only on the warmasters to teleport me...

20 seconds respawn?
You should really make changes when you aren't high. In combo with gate respawn... More and more you are making even harder to recapture the fort, while capturing fort is still easy (by default almost always forts are empty when attacked).
I d really like to hear what made you make such decision.

spawn at wall and 20 sec ressurection time....

dont u think this will only decrease war???
This is bad!!!

i know we have teleports now.. but i think fights will be more like: who has the most teleports
its already more difficult to take a fort, immagine when u're outnumbered

players will afk at the gate and say: pfft im not gonna walk all the way back

Good choice. 12K WMCs per day is too much - increases the amount of warmasters too fast.

Can be wished daily? Please, no! Make the wish available only every 3-7 days - otherwise it simply replaces the quest "A Precise Blow".

Ok, at least on small servers it will compensated by old invasion mechanics and lack of invasions. So it will hard to use it often.
