Treehugging - Stop this please!
This request is addressed to archers, especially hunters, if you are not an archer don't feel offended by my words
Guys, hunter-friends & hunter-foes, dear goats and pigs, with all due respect, stop this pathetic treehugging please. As usual i won't put any names here (although i'm sure you know who i'm talking about, shame on you), but honestly: Are you really unable to fight and win without it? Even with another archer on the same lvl? Do you really need to hide behind trees during a simple 1vs1, hunter against hunter, to have fun? Actually DMC and Auros were the only hunters i pvped lately, who did NOT treehug. I don't know if it's your usual way of fighting guys, but +1 if yes. You'll rather see me dead then hiding behind a tree. |

I can hardly remember anyone back then in the old Ra days treehugging beside knights. I really wonder what made people change their playstyle so much that almost everyone does this now. I just find it kinda boring to treehug.
And yes i am not surprised DMC is one of those who don't treehug (he got other dirty tactics though ;P) |

Treehug is simply a tactic. I'm sorry but I disagree.
As if a Warlock Won't treehug when a marks approach him. Yes he will just say,"Oh yes, let me go in the open field so he can break my barrier in 3seconds and I'll get dizzy and die before I can cast a Spell." If you get ambushed and get Dizzy/Confuse, you don't go and treehug? I would. I won't die that easily. Call me a coward but treehugging is simply a tactic.

Everything depends on the point of view.
Maybe this comparison is not accurate, but ... What is ... hm ... denunciating? For some people it is a honorable civil duty. For others it is one of the most awful and disgusting things in a society. For you treehugging is a tactic. For me it's ... |

My point of view: Treehug---> waste your opponent spells---> profit? If I get Confuse. Why So I waste his spell & stay alive. He casts Softw. I can't do anything. I treehug. Why? To waste his spells. Sure, even I hate treehugging. I can't call it cowardice and noobish. It's a tactic which I think even you use.

I don't. I never did. I never will. When you see me doing it ingame - feel free to call me a hypocrite.
Sure, it could save my life more then once, but for me it's just a proof of lack of skill. Someone treehugs - because he knows/feels that he can not win without it. I do not treehug and i expect the same from the person i'm fighting with. Nothing more, nothing less. Is it really so much to ask for? |
